Laser Systems

The Laser Center Thun features one of the world's largest laser micromachining systems, an Exitech PPM601E. Its main characteristics are:
  • Large substrates up to Gen6 (2000 x 1500 mm)
  • High accuracy
  • High optical resolution
  • Focafloat™ optics head, which gives precise control over the laser focal position
  • Debris Extraction Module, which allows active removal of debris whilst machining

Slightly smaller but otherwise with similar capabilities: the Exitech M8000.
